Kaz Hawkins, Belfast’s multi award winning singer songwriter has released this charity single for Mental Health Awareness Week with all proceeds going to AWARE - the national depression charity for Northern Ireland.
In Kaz Hawkins’ continuous campaign to use her music to increase awareness around depression, this single will be the first release from her new album Don’t You Know. The single will only be available directly from AWARE until her album is officially released at Belfast Cathedral on 22nd July where Kaz will also be donating a percentage of album sales on the night to AWARE.
Kaz has been very public about her struggle with depression and her fight to overcome the trauma of the past. It is her hope that the song will give people hope not to take drastic action in dark days. She hopes her survival through the horrific experiences she suffered throughout her life will connect with listeners.
By downloading this amazing song, you will be doing your bit to help educate our young people about the importance of looking after your mental health and you will also be helping to support people with the illness of depression throughout Northern Ireland.
